Job Summary
Duties
- Conduct inspections of incoming test powder to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize powder coating specific testing equipment including particle size analysis, and colour reading.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality control activities.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in laboratory operations.
Qualifications
- Must be comfortable with shift rotation.
- Must have lab experience, not necessarily powder coating (although that is a bonus)
- Must be prepared to take initiative
- Must have experience in a manufacturing setting
- Must have a technical degree from either a college or university
