Procurement Assistant

Continual Energy Inc. deploys cutting-edge, specialized energy solutions for buildings. We are currently looking for an individual to assist our Procurement and Shipping/Receiving Manager with tasks relating to procurement, warehouse, and shipping/receiving of parts and components ordered for use in the implementation of heating, cooling, and ventilation controls and optimization projects for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Report directly to Procurement and Shipping/Receiving Manager.
  • Supporting shipping/receiving of parts, including coordination with courier and freight companies.
  • Assisting with inventory management for warehouse, multiple offices, and project sites.
  • Help with creation of orders in purchasing systems as directed.
  • Coordination with vendors for availability and lead-time of required items.
  • Delivery/pickup of parts, packages, and materials to/from locations within the GTA.
  • Daily office work required from Monday through Friday, with occasional travel to project sites within GTA.

Skills Required :

  • Accurate and efficient data entry into existing software systems.
  • Lifting, sorting, storage, and transport of parts, packages, and materials.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes.
  • Ability take direction, work in a fast-paced team and collaborative environment, multi-task, and maintain organization.
  • Very comfortable with Windows-based computer systems and Microsoft Office.

Additional desired skills, but not required:

  • Experience with industry accounting and procurement software systems.
  • Knowledge of mechanical Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems.
  • Industry experience with Building Automation and Direct Digital Controls (DDC).

Qualifications and Education Required :

  • Diploma, degree, certification and/or equivalent relevant experience in related field.

Compensation :

  • Salary range $45,000 to $55,000 dependent upon experience and qualifications.
  • Three (3) weeks of vacation.
  • Ten (10) paid days off (sick days).

Schedule :

  • Typical work week is Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada.
  • Applications must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Capable of passing an Ontario Contractor Security Screening Check (no criminal record).

Salary : $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
