Position Summary :We have immediate openings for professional Wedding DJ / MC’swith 5+ years of wedding experience to join our team in a Freelance or part time capacity. If you thrive in the exciting, fast paced, and beautiful environment that is live events, then this is the job for you!
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Liaise with the client directly to confirm song selections and finalize agenda prior to the event
- Conduct proper testing of all equipment as required
- Execute the itinerary as outlined by the client to every exact detail
- Troubleshoot any technical issues as required throughout the event
- Communicate effectively with the Event Planner, Client, and Venue partners are required
- Provide MC support as agreed upon with client
- Assist with dismantle of equipment upon completion of the event
Qualifications and Requirements :
- 5 + years’ experience as a Wedding / Private Event DJ / MC
- Strong MC’ing abilities and comfortable with all wedding formalities (Introductions, announcements etc.)
- Self-motivated with excellent customer service skills
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Available to work weekends (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays) Shifts are generally 4pm-2am
- Basic technical skills including but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Word Press, PowerPoint, PCDJ, I-Tunes, basic wireless microphone, basic mixer, Mac computer, speakers, Light Jockey, and basic switching.

Salary : $20.00-$50.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Greater Toronto Area, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
